Description
Effigy is the fire and gas mapping module of the Kenexis Instrumented Safeguard Suite (KISS) of software for the design basis development of instrumented safeguards in the process industries. Please complete each module in the order presented. Prior to starting, please print copies of the Kenexis FGS Engineering Handbook and the Using Effigy Fire and Gas Mapping Software Workbook and Study Guide. The workbook and study guide will be of particular importance. As the training course progresses you will be asked to view a number of lecture videos. The workbook and study guide contain information and figures that are related to the content of the lecture and following along in the workbook and study guide as the lecture is presented will enhance your learning experience.
The training course will contain quizzes which are completed online, the results of which will be presented to your online course facilitator. Also, the course will include exercises to be completed in your Kenexis Instrumented Safeguard Suite account. These exercises will be automatically graded by the learning management system and tracked to allow you to view your progress through the course.
